Supercharger On 2007 C6 Corvette

I have never been satisfied with the power in my 2007 Corvette. It just never seemed as peppy as it should. I finally decided that I was better off upgrading what I had than trying something new so after a lot of research I went with a supercharger. I did not want Nitrous. What good is it? It only works when you have the accelerator all the way to the floor and then you have to arm it first, plus it burns up your engine. No, I did not want a baby bottle that injected pretend power. A turbo? No, too much heat and it is too slow to engage. I don't care about high speed, I want instant acceleration and drivability. I wanted real power so I went with a supercharger. Death Clock

I was inspired by this quote:  Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Steve Jobs, Stanford Commencement Adress, 2005   It made me think about how many days I had left. I did some web searches for Death Clock and strangely there were no sites that really had such a thing. I wanted a count down clock to put on my desk for some morbid inspiration. Anytime I wanted to slack off, I could look at that clock. I checked ebay and found a Retirement Countdown Clock. That was not exactly what I was looking for but it was a start. Dumbest thing this week: Can I call you to order.

Every once in a while someone emails after visiting one of my websites and says "I can't find a phone number. Why don't you list a phone number so people can order. Send me a phone number so I can call and give my credit card by phone." I have to scratch my head. This is not 1995. In this modern day who orders anything by phone? It does not even make sense to do so. I have spent thousands of dollars on a website that explains various products then provides an ordering system that makes it fast and easy to order, no chance of miscommunication because the customer types in his own address, the website is monitored 24/7 by a web security service, it is checked weekly for explots by another, it is on a hardened server that has never been hacked, it is offering 4096 SSL encrypted pages which ...

Nixie Tube Clock Project

I have always thought Nixie Tube displays were amazing. I have seen webpages where people created clocks and I wanted one. Unfortunately I could not find one I liked and the ones that were pre-made were very expensive. I found a kit from pvelectronics.co.uk called Frank 2 IN-14 which uses IN-14 Nixie tubes(which I happened to have a box of). It was the perfect size and the tubes look great. Fancy Camera Lens Cover – Photography

The ultimate in lens cover technology. I have started to take photogoraphy more seriously than a hobby and needed to upgrade my lens. I had this little 52mm lens cover that came with a cheap cleaning kit. I could unsnap and it was on a cord. That seemed like a good idea most of the time so I was suprised when I moved up to a 77mm filter size to find there was no choice in lens covers. None at all. All manufacturers make the same type of cover with the two side buttons and that's it! It would seem that higher end camera lenses would have options for fancy lens covers. What photographer worth his or her salt would not want a super fancy, neon enhanced, glow in the dark, gold trimmed, fur lined, flashing led lens cover? I know I sure did.
